Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing legal services support to various secretarial units within the group
Preparation of reports and documentation for the board and senior management
Preparing records and documents for the board on decision making and resource allocation in relation to compliance, regulatory and policy issues
Support the delivery of services to shareholders including dividend payments, shareholder inquiries and the AGM
Research on laws and regulations that impact on company operations and prepare memos/ working papers on corporate projects as designated by the group company secretary

Requirements

Degree in Law
Masters Degree in Commercial/ Corporate Law and finance / financial transactions will be an advantage
8-15 years post call experience with a mid -level managerial experience within a corporate organisation coverage
An understanding of public sector governance, legal, compliance and risk matters
Deep knowledge of commercial law practice and procedure
Advanced project management capability
Financial planning knowledge
Project accounting and forecasting
