Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly-motivated and alert person to fill the position of Secretary that has arisen in our firm. She/He will oversee our administrative tasks, and office staff will receive clerical and administrative support to help with workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
  • Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments for Managing Partner
  • Typing, preparing and collating reports
  • Filing
  • Organising and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
  • Prioritising workloads
  • Liaising with relevant organisations and clients
  • cting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients

Key skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
