Job Description

Growing alternative energies company is seeking to hire a dynamic B2B sales manager to drive sales across various customer channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Management:

  • Recruit sales teams across the country
  • Manage the sales team – conduct monthly performance reviews to ensure targets are met
  • Ensure team is calling on sufficient new and existing customers and targets are met.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews
  • Implement strategies to improve the new lead generation and the target market focus
  • Capture sales and leads into the CRM system and update daily
  • Monthly sales meetings to unpack the various avenues of generating sales
  • Attend complex meetings with new and/ or existing customers along with the sales teams to improve the possibility of closing deals
  • Create channel partners for the purpose of feeding the salesmen with leads
  • Disciplining the teams to ensure they are actively working their areas and requirements.

Marketing, Promotions and Customer Liaison

  • New brochures and updating of the existing brochure
  • Leverage company profile on social media and other lead generation or publicity platforms
  • Instigation and implementation of promotional materials showcasing installations
  • Invite customers to attend extramural activities to strengthen the relationships
  • Involve the sales team in events so that they may network new leads
  • Communicating with customers to review their satisfaction and avenues of improvement
  • Meeting with chain stores and larger groups for portfolio deals

Technical and Training:

  • Implement new technology strategies for the team to follow
  • Update the information on the apps for the better management of the teams and the lead tracking
  • Technical training with suppliers on the products and the methods of equipment so to improve the salespersons’ technical ability to sell the system
  • Quoting practices and proposals training
  • Working with the salespersons and the sub agents to understand deal dynamics

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years exp. as a Sales Manager
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or relevant business degree
  • Demonstrated track record in solutions-based selling in a B2B sales environment
  • Must have managed sales teams – preferably on a national basis
  • Ability to design and implement new sales processes for lead generation and worked with a CRM system
