We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Sales manager will be responsible for maximizing sales & sales team potential, crafting sales strategy, sales plan, and generating new business leads. The role also entails managing organizational sales by meeting planned goals, overseeing the activities and performance of sales team, tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of sales Agents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Business Management Degree or Relevant Diploma/Degree at NQF level 6 or 7.
  • 3-5 years sales experience in Sales and Marketing with at least 2 years at a managerial/ supervisory level.

Primary responsibilities

  • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • Setting sales goals for staff and overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Identify market opportunities while being aware of competition status
