Job Description

An organisation in the media industry is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill in the position of Sales Executive preferably residents of the mentioned cities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Generating leads, visiting potential clients to evaluate needs and giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Promoting and selling products and services
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Maintaining client records.

The Person

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers and negotiate at all corporate levels
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Sales.
  • At least one year’s experience in Sales or Marketing with a proven track record in sales in the broadcasting industry.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • A broadcasting qualification would be an added advantage
