Project Estimator/Quality Controller

Job Description

Position will be based in Harare, Zimbabwe

Duties

• Manage new projects and expedite timely production of quotations from all Branches.
• Carry out final measurements & final drawings which should be signed off as approval that all is in order and accepted by the client.
• Work closely with the Accountant, Production Supervisor & Head of Operations in the department.
• Maintaining client relations via Telephone- following up on clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicating on deliveries to be made and highlighting order of priority.
• Prepare quality control documents and attending handover meetings.
• Identify scope of value engineering/ value creation & identifying risk on projects.
• Maintaining market base through efficient customer-care.
• Attending to any other duties assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Aluminium fabrication.
• Proficiency with quantity surveying & cost estimating software Bizman tools.
• Proficiency with drawing skills using AutoCAD or any equivalent.
• Degree or certificates in civil engineering, architectural technology, quantity surveying and geometry.
