Job Description

Our client, with mining concerns in Zimbabwe, is looking for an experienced Production Geologist to join their team.

Requirements

Degree in Geology
MBA would be a distinct advantage
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Gold Mining with a minimum of 3 years’ experience at a senior level.
International or Regional experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Development and Overseeing implementation of QA/QC protocols
Management of the DMS and GIS data
Maintenance of all exploration data, production of maps / cross sections
Design and administration of exploration and mining geology database
Resource Modelling
Management of Mining software packages
Reporting
Oversee geology data collection and validation for mineral resource and ore reserve estimations.
