Job Description

Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are sought for the vacancy of Mechanical Engineer arising from current and futuristic requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring availability and reliability of fixed plant
Implementation of Preventive Maintenance procedures
Maintenance ofall mechanical equipment
Scoping, implementation and handover of mechanical projects
Ensuring compliance with all mechanical and plant legal requirements
Contractor management
Ensuring availability of critical plant spares
Identify and evaluate continual improvement initiatives
Implementation and review of SOPs policies

Minimum requirements:

BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
At least 5 years working experience in a mining environment
Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized professional association
Working knowledge of HSEQ management systems
