Job Description

Zimbabwe Newspapers (1980) Limited is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Journey Person – Electrician which has arisen at its Commercial Printing Division.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Attending to all electrical breakdowns on machinery to minimize down time.
Electrical maintenance on all machines.
Electrical projects installations.
Attending to power issues.
Training of apprentices.
Be prepared to do shift work.
Compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

25 years and above.
Minimum of 5 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics.
National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
Class 1 Journey person.
An extensive knowledge in electronics.
Three years post apprenticeship working experience.
Mature and be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
