We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed individuals to join our team for the position of Human Resources Business Partner.

Reporting To: HR & Administration Manager

Job Description:

The incumbent will report to the HR & Administration Manager and will provide support and guidance on HR matters that may include Human Resources Planning, Human Resources policy formulation, salary surveys, development of employment Contracts, maintenance of Job evaluation system, recruitment and staffing for the company.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Induction

  • Implements Effective Recruitment And Selection Systems And Policies To Attract And Recruit Skilled Employees For The Departments.
  • Provides Regular Guidance And Assistance To Job Applicants And TelOne Departments In The Navigation Of The Organization’s Web-Based Job Application And Selection Process.
  • Reviews Procedures, Practices And Processes For Recruitment And Selection Of Human Resources In The Organization As And When Necessary.
  • Implements Fair, Consistent And Transparent Recruitment And Selection As And When Vacancies Arise.

Employment Policies and Procedures

  • Assists HR & Admin Manager To Develop And Implement Policies And Procedures That Are In Line With Legislation And Best Practice Trends.
  • Evaluates The Business’ Human Resources Partnership Model And Establish Perspectives With Internal Stakeholders On Skills And Talent Requirements.
  • Communicates And Embed HR Policies And Procedures Across The Organisation.
  • Prepares Employee Offer Letters And Contracts Of Employment With Up To Date Terms And Conditions.

Human Capital Planning

  • Assists The HR & Administration Manager In Developing Corporate, Functional And Departmental Human Capital Plans That Support Business Functional Roadmaps Ensuring A Guaranteed Supply Of Skills As And When Required.
  • Carries Out Systematic Human Capital Analysis (Manpower Profile) To Measure Current And Foreseeable Human Capital Skills Gaps In View To Establish Business Vulnerable Areas.
  • Provides Human Capital Forecast To HR & Administration Manager In Line With Business Cycles.
  • Determines Skills Relevance, Experience And Qualifications Held By The Employees And Recommends Adoption Of New Skills Standards That Meet Emerging Technological Business Challenges.

Human Resources Management

  • Recommends And Maintain The Job Evaluation System Through Regular Audits.
  • Implement Staff Audits As And When Necessary.

Qualification And Experience:

  • A Degree In Human Resources Management / Social Science Degree Or Equivalent
  • An HR Professional Qualification E.G. (IPMZ Diploma) Will Be An Added Advantage.
  • At Least 2 Years Human Resources Experience Preferably In A Telecommunication, ICT Environment.


  • Strong Business Acumen, Management And Analytical Skills.
  • Good Communication And Interpersonal Skills With Employees And Stakeholders.
  • Ability To Translate Insights Into Action.
  • Ability To Multi-Task And Manage Multiple Priorities.
