Job Description
Applications are invited to fill in the vacant position of Funeral Services Consultant.
Reporting to: The Business Development Executive
The main purpose of this role is to set up a funeral services ecosystem and achieve funeral sales targets for the department.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Assist the Funeral services Sales teams with competitor information to assist Sales.
- Engage Service providers as Distribution agents for funeral cash and services products.
- Develop tailor-made funeral service products for distribution through the Funeral service provider network.
- Enhancement of current funeral services product to increase appeal across all market segments.
- Ensure client needs are met satisfactorily at all times.
- Develop product distribution strategies through multiple sales channels.
- Engage Service providers and distributors in regular discussions to transfer knowledge about insurance, company’s product offerings and understand their issues/concerns about selling insurance.
The ideal position holder should possess the following competencies, skills & experience:
- At least 3 years experience in Insurance or Funeral Services sales.
- Funeral services experience is a must.
- Knowledge of one or more project management tools.
- A Diploma or first degree in a Business-related field.
- Be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing with an energetic charismatic, and approachable style.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage through organizational change
