Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has some exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Kwekwe Division.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the vacant position of Financial Accounting Manager on a renewable fixed-term contract basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Accounting degree plus 5 years accounting work experience in a manufacturing or mining environment
• Possession of a professional qualification preferably CIMA, C.I.S, IAC, ACCA will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of IFRS and IAS a must
• Working knowledge of SAP packages and SAP Super User training will be a distinct advantage.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Production of financial reports
• Budget preparation and management
• Preparation of operational cash-flows
• Management of creditors and the accounts payable ledger
• General ledger reconciliation
• Payroll administration
• Management of statutory obligations and remittances (VAT, Payee, Withholding Taxes, etc.)
• Management of internal and external financial audits
• Management of the departmental SHE and quality systems
• Maintenance of the Asset Register
