Job Description

Applications are invited to fill in the vacant position on a 5-month fixed term
contract basis as a Finance Clerk – Cash Office.

Reporting to: The Operations Accountant

The main roles and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Capturing receipt transactions
  • Performing daily cash reconciliations
  • Resolving customer complaints regarding receipting
  • Ensuring all assigned transactions are captured in AccPac
  • Reconciling allocated trial balance accounts
  • Filing and record keeping of cash office documentation
  • Supporting supervisory and executive staff by performing assigned duties

Key qualifications, experience & competencies

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 1 year working experience in a Finance department
  • Solid communication skills with proficiency in speaking and writing
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft packages
