Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task oriented individuals to fill the position of Credit Controller that has arisen within the Finance Department

Duties and Responsibilities:

KEY RESULT AREAS

The incumbent will be reporting to the Assistant Accountant and will be responsible for the following:

  • Debt collection
  • Credit control
  • Revenue collection
  • Reviewing of credit control policy
  • Supervision of staff
  • Compilation of monthly report

Qualifications and experience:

The Person Specification

  • A diploma in Credit Control/ degree from a recognized institution in Accounting or equivalent
  • Experience in the field of Credit Control is an added advantage
  • Membership to a relevant professional body is an added advantage
  • Exposure to local authorities accounting systems will be an added advantage
  • A clean class four drivers licence is an added advantage

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team
  • Ability to handle pressure and work with minimum supervision
