Job Description

The Coordinator is expected to provide operational effectiveness for superior performance of the media group by coming up with appropriate strategies and implementing board resolutions.

Principal Job Responsibilities

  • Project management which is to include project research, project coordination and project monitoring and evaluation
  • Responsible for the day to day administrative operations of the media group
  • Custody of the Thinkers Hub assets register
  • Organizing board/stakeholder meetings
  • Collaborating with board members in preparation, administration and monitoring of the budget
  • Revenue generation
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth of the media group
  • Advertising, sales and marketing of the media group’s products and services
  • Business compliance and licencing
  • Handling social media handles
  • Customer relationship management
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Journalism/Communications/Marketing /Business Administration/ Project Management
  • At least two years experience in a similar position


  • Business communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management practices
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet set targets and work with minimal supervision
