Job Description

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED PERSONS TO FILL THE POST OF COMMITTEE OFFICER IN COUNCIL.

Key Result Area

  • To timeously and accurately produce committee and council agenda and minutes
  • Provides procedural, legislative/ legal and administrative advice to Councillors and Officials
  • Prepares relevant circulars and other documentation resulting from Council committee resolutions
  • Provide secretarial services to other adhoc committees of officials

Qualifications and experience

  • A relevant degree in Local Government Administration or Social Science and at least three years working experience in Local Government Administration
