Job Description

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the challenging positions of CATCHMENT MANAGER that have arisen in the Organization. The applicants will be deployed to the various provinces and reporting to the Water Supply Operations Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing and administering the affairs of the catchment councils
Managing the Catchment’s water resources and associated infrastructure
Overseeing the efficient running of Service Centers in the Catchment
Coordinating with the project management unit on managing water projects in the Catchment
Participating in provincial proceedings in liaison with relevant government departments
Rural community water supply assessments, new installations and upgrades

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Degree in Civil Engineering
A minimum of five years post qualifying experience
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven track record
