Job Description

What we expect from you

  • Manage the Group subsidiary marketing strategies through planning, budgeting and implementing the relevant marketing activities under the supervision of the Head, Marketing.
  • Develop and execute a fully integrated brand communications plan that supports the overall Group strategy.
  • Define the media strategy, brief agencies and follow up the implementation and analyse the results of campaign strategies and report results.
  • Manage the production of marketing initiatives through a variety of relevant channels i.e.TV and radio scripting, press and magazine ads, email, online and social media campaigns, roadshows and outreach programs.
  • Manage and monitor the marketing spend on the brands to maximize profitability and evaluate return on investment from the various media platforms.
  • Manage customer reactions to brands through focus groups and market research ensuring this feeds into group brand communications plan.
  • Develop and implement a brand research and tracking program to monitor the success of all initiatives and promote a positive brand perception.
  • Provide feedback into product development and service offers.
  • Track key drivers of portfolio performance and recommend remedial action where necessary.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels of all brand communications materials at appropriate levels, placing periodic orders, and mange over and under stock exposures.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure brand material adheres to trademark and intellectual property rights.

Qualifications, Skills and experience required

  • A Degree in Marketing, Business Studies or similar from a reputable and recognized tertiary institution.
  • Post qualification studies majoring in areas relating to customer service, digital marketing, and use of social media platforms.
  • At least 5 years’ marketing experience preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Sound knowledge of financial industry products and services.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft and marketing related packages.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
