Accounts Officer – Harare

Job Description

The following vacancy has arisen within Vivat Health Solutions (Privos Pharma) for the position of Accounts Officer. Interested candidates who meet set requirements are encouraged to apply.

Reporting to: The Head of Finance

The position will be responsible for the following duties:

• Processing invoices
• Cross checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
• Managing the company’s accounts payable and receivable
• Sending bills and invoices to clients
• Tracking organisation expenses
• Processing refunds
• Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
• Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments

Education and Experience

• An Accounting or Finance Degree.
• A minimum of 2 years’ similar experience in the Accounting or Finance field.
• Accounting experience in the medical field. especially Pharmacy Wholesale, is an added advantage.
• Must be results driven and goal oriented.
• Have an appreciation of accounting systems.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
