Accounts Clerk – Expenditure

Job Description

Cheek Mbungo Enterprise (Pvt) Ltd is looking for suitably qualified candidates to urgently fill the position of Accounts Clerk – Expenditure that has arisen within their Finance function.

Responsible for

• Administration of all Operating Expenses and acquisition of Assets
• Classification of entries and transactions by expense type
• Make sure that all files and ledger accounts align
• Maintaining ledger accounts into the system
• Preparation of all relevant expenditure files
• Monitoring all expenditure documents and supporting documentation
• Monitoring transaction completeness and all paper work
• Make sure that all transactions are committed upon receipt of complete documentation from procurement and HODs
• Production of weekly and monthly reports of expenditures by classification and relevant ledger accounts
• Lead the expenditure posting into the Sage Pastel Evolution

Qualifications, experience and attributes

• Higher National Diploma/ National Diploma in Accounts Experience in Pastel Accounting a prerequisite
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIS, SAAA, IAC
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience is an added advantage At least 25 years old.
